I like this a great deal. Color was used very well here. The facial expression matches the color. There is beauty in the face too.

A fair amount of burnout in a photo design like this is normal. I would have liked to seen less blowout of the highlights. Some is expected in this type of photo, but there is a bit too much detail loss of the cheek area in particular.

If you did this in post processing, there are techniques for preserving detail as you increase dynamic range, such as increasing dynamic range of only one channel, or to isolate highlights, apply large feather, adjust levels or contrast, shrink the highlight selection, adjust again, and so on in steps to avoid banding.

Another way in to make a copy of the base layer, apply a drastic adjustment of dynamic range, then experiment with layer blending the two. There are many different techniques I have seen.

I do not mean to sound picky or over critical. I wish simply to give you another viewpoint to consider.

In the world of creativity, the final judge of what is best for your art, is You. Others can give views, opinions, and suggestions, but then you get to pick what you feel to be helpful and discard the rest.

Don't worry of what you say.
Every comment is important for me, so I can learn more and more day by day.

So.. thank you for being a little critical. ;)
